Company Introduction

Expanded the 9" factory by 12,600 square feet in March 2006.
In November 2006, increased the 4" factory to 36,000 square feet with the plan to invest more capital and manpower in the development of small scale band saws.

We now have over 25 years experience developing and producing automatic band saws. We currently manufacture over 30 types of band saws, supplying 50 industrialized countries on five continents.

Each horizontal band saw we make is well received and popular, especially in Europe and the Americas. We occupy an impressive share of the global horizontal sawing machines market. WAY TRAIN is the leading manufacturer of band saws in Taiwan.

There are 5 WAY TRAIN factories in operation, each dedicated to the following categories :

7" Factory:	Head office location. Produces medium-sized semi-industrial grade economical band saws, 7" and 8" specifications.
9" Factory:	Produces medium sized industrial grade series, 9", 10" and 13" band saws. More than a dozen models in production.
5" Factory:	Producing 4", 5" and 6" portable band saws.
European Style Factory:	Producing 6", 7", 9" and 11" WE series for the European market. Ten models in total.
Fully-automatic Factory:	Producing all fully automatic series as well as the LEXUS double column series.

Company Milestones

2006
1. Expanded the 9" factory by 12,600 square feet in March, totaling 28,440 square feet and increasing capacity by 60%. In November, increased the 4" factory to 36,000 square feet with the plan to invest more capital and manpower in the development of small scale band saws.
2005
1. Special project to assist the traditional industrial technology development plan (CITD), funded by The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industrial Office.
2. Developed new models UE-1318SSA and UE-115SV manual and semi-automatic band saws.
2004
1. Developed new models UE-331DSA, 460DSA and LX-400NC.
2. The fully automatic factory completed development of the Fully Automatic Column Type Hydraulic 60 degree Swiveling Head Band Saw with linear guide way.
3. Expanded the fully automatic factory by 28,800 square feet in April. Location: Tan Zi Township, Taiwan.
2003
1. Completed development of the fully-automatic LX-250NC and LX-330NC series.
2. Established the fourth factory specializing in small scale precision sawing machines.
2002
1. Won the National Award for Innovation of Small and Medium Enterprises (Issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.)
2. Established the third factory for various types of fully-automatic sawing machines in January.
2001
1. ISO-9001 international quality management system authentication in December.
2. Special Vocational Training funded by the Council of Labor Affairs, Executive Yuan, Location: Taiwan.
3. Established the second factory for European style WE series band saws in March with a capital of NT$7 million. Location: Da Ya Township.
1999
1. Engaged in a special technical research project funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs entitled "Technological Development of Advanced Precision Metal Sawing Machines".
1998
1. ISO-9002 certified in December.
2. Won the seventh Taiwan Symbol of Excellence Award in December.
1997
1. Won European CE authentication (Norway DNV) for all series and models in January.
1996
1. Won UL, CSA product quality authentication for all series and models in July.
1995
1. Expanded working capital to NT$15 million in August.

1. Won European CE authentication (Belgium AV) in August.
