Introduction :

Horizontal Band Saw

Expanded the 9" factory by 12,600 square feet in March 2006.
In November 2006, increased the 4" factory to 36,000 square feet with the plan to invest more capital and manpower in the development of small scale band saws.
WAY TRAIN INDUSTRIES was established in March, 1983. With over 20 years experience developing and producing band saws, we have over 30 types and supply to 50 industrial countries on five continents. Our products are well received & popular, especially in Europe and the Americas. Occupying an impressive share of the global market, WAY TRAIN is the leading brand of band saws in Taiwan.

There are 5 WAY TRAIN factories in operation, each dedicated to the following categories:

7" Factory:	Head office location. Produces 7" and 8" medium sized, semi- industrial grade, economical band saws.
9" Factory:	Produces medium sized industrial grade 9" 10" and 13" band saws. Location Jiu She Village, Taiwan.
4" Factory:	Produces 4" 5" and 6" portable band saws.
European Style Factory:	Producing 6" 7" 9" and 11" WE series for the European market. Ten models in total.
Fully-automatic Factory:	Produces our fully auto series as well as the LEXUS double column series.

Milestones :

2006	Expanded the 9" factory by 12,600 square feet in March, totaling 28,440 square feet and increasing capacity by 60%. In November, increased the 4" factory to 36,000 square feet with the plan to invest more capital and manpower in the development of small scale band saws.
2005	Special project to assist the traditional industrial technology development plan (CITD ), funded by The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industrial Office.
2005	Developed new models UE-1318SSA and UE-115SV manual and semi-automatic band saws
2004	Developed new models UE-331DSA, 460DSA and LX-400NC.
	The fully-automatic factory completed development of the Fully Automatic Column Type Hydraulic 60 degree Swiveling Head Band Saw with linear guide way.
	Expanded the fully-automatic factory by 28,800 square feet in April. Location: Tan Zi Township, Taiwan.
2003	Completed development of the fully-automatic LX-250NC and LX-330NC series.
2003	Established the fourth factory specializing in small scale precision sawing machines.
2002	Won the National Award for Innovation of Small and Medium Enterprises (issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.)
2002	Established the third factory for various types of fully-automatic sawing machines in January.
2001	ISO-9001 international quality management system authentication in December.
	Special Vocational Training funded by the Council of Labor Affairs, Executive Yuan, Location: Taiwan.
	Established the second factory for European style WE series band saws in March with a capital of NT$7 million. Location: Da Ya Township.
1999	Engaged in a special technical research project funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs entitled "Technological Development of Advanced Precision Metal Sawing Machines".
1998	ISO-9002 certified in December.
1997	Won European CE authentication (Norway DNV ) for all series and models in January.
1996	Won UL, CSA product quality authentication for all series and models in July.
1995	Expanded working capital to NT$15 million in August.
1994	Won European CE authentication (Belgium AV ) in August.
1989	Won CSA product quality authentication in June.
1983	Company established with a capital of NT$5 million.
